PORTRAIT

A portrait can indeed be much more than just an image of a person's face or figure.

Its goal is to reflect the individuality, emotions, and inner world of a person, as well as the details that reveal their character and lifestyle.

A true portrait includes not only facial features but also the atmosphere around them, the surrounding objects that speak to their habits and interests, or places with which the person feels closely connected.

These elements can tell the viewer more than just appearance.

For example, room details, home environment, or even favorite things are also a kind of touch in the portrait that helps better understand the person.

Mood also plays an important role in a portrait: facial expressions, gaze, posture, lighting, and even the color palette — all of these affect how a portrait is perceived and help convey feelings, thoughts, and emotional state. One could say that a portrait is a story about a person, told through visual means, and each portrait is as unique as the life of the person it depicts.
